I was thinking drilling coincident/parallel to the direction of the wedge when pulled up when tightening the bolt (imagine if I was air-drilling, it'd be drilling in from the front of the seatpost). The FSA K-Force Compact, as the name suggests, has a shallower drop (125mm) than a lot of handlebars, including FSAs own Ergo bar. By compact, I mean that FSA have shortened the reach from 90mm to 78mm and the drop goes down from 145mm to 125mm.
What that means is the transfer from the hoods to the drops is less extreme, and that makes it ideal for people who want who dont have the flexibility to ride in the deep drops of some handlebars. The nice part of the FSA wing pro compact in my view is actually the drop shape and the outward sweep while remaining reall stiff. The shallow nature of the drops make it ideal for smaller riders like myself. A lot of the other options don't have the same sweep.
